JACOBS DREAM Continue Search For Lead Vocalist

September 15, 2002

Columbus Ohio's JACOBS DREAM are continuing their vocalist search following the departure of David Taylor. Commented guitarist John Berry: "We are scheduling a date at a studio to work on some tracks with a vocalist. He is quite good. A classical tenor voice. A good songwriter and studio engineer as well. When we get done I will let you know how it went. I have met the guy and spent some time with him and his wife, and they seem to be good people. I hope the rest of the guys in the band agree. He played some tracks he did for me on the phone last night. I took him a CD with me on vocals and he re-cut it with his over top. It sounded like him singing lead and me and the other guys singing backup. He had excellent range and control of his pitch. He is very powerful."

In other news, JACOBS DREAM's demo CD has once again been made available through Sentinel Steel Records or directly from the band for $12.00. Included on the demo are original versions of "Sara Williams", "Wisdom", "Love And Sorow" and "Violent Truth" along with other tracks available nowhere else, "The Jewel" and "Outer Realm".
